The Ryans, the O’Briens (& the McKays)
Oh what a lovely Irish day it was when the McKays (that’s us) went out to photograph the wedding of Kelly O’Brien to Timothy Ryan. It was an early March day like no other, with a perfect temperature and just enough of a breeze to blow Kelly’s vintage veil around a bit and remind us all of how lucky we were to have a day like that. Kelly got prepared for her Holy Cross wedding at the Bungalow Hotel, in Long Branch, NJ and the guests occupied every room. Many family members had come from across “The Pond” and were enthralled by the unique style of this new, modern hotel and the beauty of the Jersey Shore. The 3 o’clock ceremony was made much more memorable by Kelly’s promise to take Tim “as her wedded wife”! Oopsie. From there, it was just a short trip to McLoone’s Pier House for a wonderful intimate reception where Nelson and the crew took excellent care of the guests and Brian Kirk and the Jirks rocked the house! Thanks so much to both families for trusting us to capture your day in photos and for making us feel right at home as well. That’s just the Irish way…

May you always have enough happiness to keep you sweet, trials to keep you strong, success to make you eager, friends to give you comfort, wealth to meet your needs, enthusiasm to look for tomorrow, and a growing love to make each day better than the day before.
