Every wedding has something that sets it apart form the others and sometimes it’s more than a little bit obvious exactly what that something is. On this day, the day that Alix Kessler married Robert Grigal, it would be easy to guess that that special something was their cake; “the cake with the split personality”! In reality however, the thing that was really special on this day was the couple themselves; a couple with a Rock and Roll exterior and big, sweet, mushy hearts the size of Texas on the inside! Just look at the photos, they really tell the story. These people don’t take themselves too seriously; they had fun with their wedding day; and at the same time, the ceremony, so personal, told us all how seriously they were in love with each other. Their venue, Il Tulipano, so classically beautiful; like the bride; like the “front side” of their cake. And then, the Rock and Roll comes out when the cake is spun around… long story short; these people know how to have fun and we’re really really glad that they included us in their beautiful day!
