Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel in Asbury Park. What a gem! We photographed in front of the Asbury Casino in the rain and then went on to one of the most personal and beautiful ceremonies we’ve ever seen.
The reception, at the Jumping Brook Country Club was just as unusual and fun, beginning with an incredible band, The Amish Outlaws! You can find a picture of them below. In addition to the usual passed hors d’oeuvres, the cocktail hour was sporting subs by Jersey Mike’s and pretzels by The Philly Pretzel Factory. Later, the toasts were so wonderful that I even caught Liz shedding a tear when she should have been working. : )
As if all of this weren’t enough, Marybeth and Eric asked us to do something that we really loved; they asked us to set up a “photo booth”. They sprinkled in some props, like masks and helmets and a dry erase board so their guests could leave them messages and it was… well, it was more fun than mere mortals should be allowed to have.
Our thanks go out to our next door neighbors for making us a part of their glorious, rainy Wedding Day. We’ll see you on the front porch!
