OK… You have to try your best to get “The Sunset Shot” when you are getting married at Clark’s Landing! It is essential and every bride and groom gets their own special version of it. In some cases this is what sells a couple on this venue so when Samantha Orens and Matthew Stone wrote on the itinerary of their November 14th wedding… “4PM Ketubah Signing 4:30 Ceremony 4:50PM: BRIDE AND GROOM RUSH TO DOCK FOR SUNSET SHOTS!” LET’S DO THIS! IT IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY TO BEGIN ON TIME! …they meant business! … and thank goodness because it was so worth it, as you will see at the end of this post! But don’t just rush to the end because the whole entirely wonderful wedding of Matt & Samantha Stone lies between this text and that photo! You see, the fun had already begun with getting ready. From there, there was a First Look at Clarks Landing, portraits by the river as well as in the beautiful ballroom and couple of beautifully personal ceremonies, one for immediate family and finally, one for all! Then of course it was party time and this crew knew full well how to party, as you will see! Liz and I want to thank both the Orens and Stone families as well as the folks at Clarks Landing for making this day so enjoyable, not only for your friends and family but for us too! Liz and I are so happy with the pictures but maybe not as happy as Samantha was. We never post Thank You notes from our couples but this one was so special we just had to do it. Thanks Again! We wish you many thousands of sunsets together! Bob & Liz “Hi Bob and Liz, I wish there was a word for the way I feel about how truly beautiful our wedding photos are. In the last few weeks, I have tried to imagine what the pictures would be like, but was also a little worried because your presence at our wedding was not overwhelming. Matty and I were even trying to remember seeing you buzzing around, but the day is a big blur. I swear, you are both super heroes, and your super powers are stealth movements and sharp eyes! What I mean to say is, the photos are breathtaking. I am at a loss. You were able to perfectly capture so many emotions and so many hundreds of special moments and I didn’t even notice it when you did! There are almost no pictures of me making weird faces, as I am known to look in candid shots, and Matty does not look at all like a menace to society (which he almost always does in pictures)! I am in awe of you, magic photo genies. You were able to be everywhere during the day in such a fluid presence, and I will forever be grateful for the outstanding images of our most special day. Now the hard part: picking images for our album!
