Alexandra + Anthony, Molly Pitcher Inn, Red Bank wedding photographer

So, every wedding really is a little different! In this case, despite the fact that the groom’s mother Kathy (Go Kathy!) booked us for this wedding almost a year before it was to take place; and with the exception of our usual meeting about 30 days before the wedding, we really didn’t get to know Alexandra and Anthony (the bride and groom) very well at all until the big day came around! This is pretty unusual for us but you see, Kathy had done most of the heavy lifting on this one. In fact, I spent so much time on the phone with Kathy in the days leading up to the wedding that I feel like she and I could open a wedding planning business together! Whaddya say, Kathy? We did a good job on this one! : ) When the wedding day did come however, we fell right into it with Anthony and Alexandra, the way that old friends can pick up a conversation after years of not speaking. They are a really sweet couple. On this day, we began at the church, the bride and groom having opted out of getting ready pictures. We love when people change things up on us a bit. It keeps life interesting and keeps us on out toes! So, after a very beautiful ceremony at St. Francis Cathedral in Metuchen, it was off to The Molly Pitcher Inn for a very, very classy evening with the Lips and Aiello families. With the tables bursting with beautiful flowers arrangements by Flowerful Events, the walls enhanced with uplifting uplighting and the airwaves thick with the musical stylings of their very big and bold band, Elegant Ensembles, the Molly Pitcher ballroom was transformed into a place where everyone could forget their troubles, have fun and really feel the love! A lot of thought went into this wedding day and it was really pretty perfect. Kathy really wanted “the kids” to have a good time and I have to honestly say that this bride and groom could not get the smiles off of their faces all day long! Nice job Kathy! Kudos to The Molly Pitcher staff as well. Most importantly, our big congratulations go out to the new Mr. & Mrs. Anthony & Alexandra Aiello. It’s been great getting to know you….
