Kaitlin + Matthew, Ocean Place Long Branch wedding photographer

One of the things that we love about what we do is that we are often shooting weddings and portraits for people that we have certain connections with in life. Many times people are referred to us, in fact, that’s a major part of our business; but sometimes our work comes from people that we know from other aspects of our daily lives; in this case, from our (my) love of ice cream! I have been going to Ryan’s Ice Cream in Shrewsbury for as long as I can remember. They make their own ice cream there and among other things, the have the best cherry vanilla ice cream ever made. Really, you must check it out; but I digress. The point is, out of our common love for ice cream comes this relationship from which we are asked by Peter and Betty Ryan to photograph the wedding of their son Matt Ryan to his beautiful fiancé, Kaitlin Leib, on April 12, 2014. Matt & Kaitlin’s wedding day, being 100% at The Ocean Place Resort & Spa in Long Branch, was about as simple and smooth as a bowl of vanilla; but quite colorful as well, like someone poured rainbow sprinkles all over it! It was both fun and relaxing for us to photograph this couple getting ready in their hotel rooms, walking downstairs and onto the boardwalk for their first look and family portraits and then strolling back to the hotel for the ceremony and reception.
